Job Title : Cisco Network Infrastructure Engineer
Job Type : W2 / C2C / 1099
Experience : 1-15 Years
Location : Morristown, New Jersey
Responsibilities
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network and IT security support.
- Cisco or similar certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP or equivalent).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Cisco Routing, Switching (Catalyst and Nexus), Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ASA, and Network Proxies.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, IPS, SDWAN, DMVPN, NAC, and 802.1x deployment.
- Experience in Python scripting, Ansible automation, or similar technology is a huge plus.
- Document new operational issues and solutions from the field and transfer knowledge to team members.
- Provision and maintain the health of network infrastructure in different data centers.
- Administer Cisco (Routing, Switching, Wireless) and SDWAN infrastructure.
- Adhere to IT access management and change control procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and mentor junior staff to execute the IT strategy in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices in risk management techniques and integrate new methods and tools as appropriate.
- Support in deploying other areas of technology (Network Access Control, Firewalls, VPN, and SNMP-based monitoring).
- Support network and firewall OS patching, monitoring, and alerting.
