Job Title: Cloud Architect
Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture diagrams, documentation, and best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud services and tools to enhance system performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members on cloud best practices and technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Work with external vendors and partners to manage cloud services and integrations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, and best practices.
- Proficiency in cloud-native technologies, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, etc.).
- Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in project management and cloud migration.
- Advanced degree in a related field.
