We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Security Consultant to join our team. The Consultant will be responsible for assessing, designing, and implementing network security solutions that protect client networks, systems, and data from cybersecurity threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security architecture, risk management, and a passion for delivering innovative security solutions that meet client security requirements.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to conduct comprehensive network security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, risks, and security gaps in their IT infrastructure.
- Design and implement customized network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and endpoint security measures.
- Develop network security architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation plans based on client security requirements and industry best practices.
- Configure and deploy security tools and technologies to monitor and defend against security threats, ensuring proactive threat detection and response capabilities.
- Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security audits to assess the effectiveness of network security controls and recommend remediation actions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network security incidents, including incident response, containment, and recovery efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT operations, compliance, and risk management to align network security initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, security trends, and best practices in network security, and apply this knowledge to enhance security posture and client solutions.
- Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, proposal writing, and presenting technical capabilities and security solutions.
