Job Title: Azure Administrator
Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
- Monitor system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Implement and manage Azure security services, including identity and access management, encryption, and threat protection.
- Configure and maintain Azure resource groups, virtual networks, and subnets.
- Automate deployment and management processes using Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize and secure cloud solutions.
- Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity procedures.
- Monitor and manage Azure cost and resource utilization, optimizing for cost efficiency.
- Stay current with the latest Azure updates, features, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Azure Administrator or in a similar cloud administration role.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, security, and best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or other relevant Azure certifications.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and VPNs in a cloud environment.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and on-premises integrations.
- Advanced degree in a related field.
