Summary
Our client is seeking a senior Snowflake engineer with expertise in Data Management, Snowflake cloud warehouse, and ETL pipeline development. The ideal candidate should have experience with Python and Snowflake SQL, as well as scripting using Unix shell. Additionally, skills in Data Lineage Analysis, Data Profiling, Mapping Integration, ETL Validation, Cleansing, Masking, and Subsetting are required.
Must-Have
- Minimum of 8 years in Data Management, specialising in Analytical Data Warehousing.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse and its features.
- Proficiency in AWS architecture and services.
- Experience in creating and analysing SQL and PL/SQL procedures for data integration.
- Skilled in developing ETL pipelines using Python and Snowflake SQL, and scripting with Unix shell for data extraction and loading.
- Strong understanding of logical and physical data models for analytics and business intelligence.
- Experience in creating SQL-based processes for slowly changing dimensions and various types of facts.
- Proficiency in Data Lineage Analysis, Data Profiling, Mapping Integration, ETL Validation, Cleansing, Masking, Subsetting, Profiling, Archiving, Purging, Virtualization, Metadata Management, Unit Testing, System Integration Testing Support, and UAT.
- Involvement in SQL performance tuning, identifying root causes of failures, and resolving technical issues.
