Role Description:
We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our leadership team. The CTO will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing advanced AI models for our credit card recommendation system, which leverages transaction data to provide personalized credit card recommendations. Beyond this, we anticipate the CTO to bring expertise and vision to the development of additional AI-driven tools we plan on implementing further down the line. This role is pivotal in driving the technological direction of Churn, ensuring the successful execution of our mission, and expanding our product offerings in the future.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the development and deployment of AI-driven models for our credit card recommendation engine.
- Oversee the integration of the Plaid API to access and analyze user transaction data.
- Design and implement algorithms to classify transactions, match them to spend categories or merchants, and calculate user-specific credit card benefits.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of Churn’s technology infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and financial experts, to align technological innovations with business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement through iterative development, feedback mechanisms, and user testing.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain Churn’s competitive edge.
- Foster a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and excellence within the technology team.
- Leverage Web3 technologies to enhance user data protection and security.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical data practices, particularly GDPR and CCPA.
What We're Looking For (The More, The Better):
- Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role within the fintech industry.
- Expertise in AI/ML, data analytics, predictive modeling, and blockchain/Web3 technologies for enhancing user data privacy and security.
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, and relevant libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and spaCy.
- Expertise in working with APIs, particularly Plaid, and integrating third-party services.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing technology teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and iterative prototyping.
- Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
Compensation:
- Founder's Equity: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
- Long-term Compensation: As we exit the growth phase, a net revenue share model will be implemented, reflecting the CTO’s equity stake in Churn.
