We are seeking a motivated and results-driven IT Solutions Sales Specialist to join our sales team. The IT Solutions Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving sales of our IT products, services, and solutions by understanding customer needs, proposing tailored solutions, and building strong relationships with clients.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify leads, prospects, and opportunities within the target market; conduct research and gather information on customer needs, challenges, and business goals.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute sales strategies, plans, and campaigns to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Present and demonstrate our IT solutions and services to prospective clients through product presentations, solution demonstrations, and technical discussions.
- Customize proposals, quotes, and presentations based on client requirements; articulate value propositions and benefits of our IT solutions to key decision-makers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers; work closely with internal teams (e.g., pre-sales engineers, project managers) to ensure smooth sales handoff and project initiation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts; act as a trusted advisor and consultant to understand their evolving IT needs and challenges.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in IT solutions and services; provide market feedback and insights to internal teams.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking events to expand business connections and promote our IT solutions portfolio.
- Track sales activities, pipeline status, and progress in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce); provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field (MBA or technical certifications are a plus).
- Proven experience (X years) in IT solutions sales, technology sales, or related field with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions including cloud services, software applications, cybersecurity, networking, and infrastructure.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills; ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and close sales deals effectively.
- Experience in managing complex sales cycles and selling to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; familiarity with solution selling methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate technical concepts and value propositions to diverse audiences.
- Customer-focused with a consultative selling approach; ability to understand customer pain points and propose tailored solutions to meet their business needs.
- Results-oriented with strong business acumen; analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data, trends, and metrics to drive informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment.
