Overview
We are looking for a proficient and experienced IT Manager to lead our IT department. The IT Manager will oversee the implementation and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure, systems, and policies. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage a team of IT professionals to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT operations. Roles And Responsibilities - IT Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems and infrastructure to meet business requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, help desk technicians, and other IT staff.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to promote teamwork, professional growth, and skill development within the IT department.
- IT Operations and Support:
- Establish IT policies, procedures, and workflows to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee IT service desk operations, prioritize support requests, and coordinate resolution of technical issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Cybersecurity and Data Protection:
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures, policies, and best practices to protect company data, networks, and systems from security threats and breaches.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk management activities to mitigate potential risks and maintain a secure IT environment.
- Vendor Management and Budgeting:
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, suppliers, and service providers to negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure cost-effective procurement of IT products and services.
- Develop and manage the IT department budget, track expenditures, and allocate resources effectively to support business priorities and IT projects.
- Strategic Planning and Alignment:
- Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business goals and strategic objectives.
- Provide recommendations for IT investments, technology upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements to support business growth and innovation.
