Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Manager to lead our cybersecurity team and oversee our organization’s cybersecurity operations. The Cybersecurity Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to protect our systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. This role requires a strong technical background in cybersecurity, leadership abilities, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure the security and integrity of our information assets.
Roles And Responsibilities - Cybersecurity Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and frameworks to protect the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and data.
- Define cybersecurity goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
- Security Operations Management:
- Lead and manage the cybersecurity team in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents and threats.
- Implement and oversee security operations, including threat hunting, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and prioritize remediation efforts.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations, industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Security Architecture and Engineering:
- Design, implement, and maintain security architecture, solutions, and controls to protect enterprise systems and networks.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and services to enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Incident Response and Recovery:
- Develop and maintain incident response plans, playbooks, and procedures for timely and effective response to security incidents.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to mitigate security breaches and restore normal operations.
- Training and Awareness:
- Conduct cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees to promote security best practices and compliance with security policies.
- Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and vigilance across the organization.
