Title: Systems Administrator

The Systems Administrator will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our Azure Active Directory (AAD), Intune, and other facets of our Microsoft 365 environments. S/he will also provide general office IT support to ensure the smooth functioning of our systems and technology infrastructure. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud-based IT management and to develop skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Under direct supervision of IT leadership, the incumbent will:
- Manage and administer Azure Active Directory (AD), including user and group management, access controls, and security settings.
- Administer Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and endpoint security, including policy configuration, device enrollment, and troubleshooting
- Oversee Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and IT systems.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, printers, and networking equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects and initiatives, contributing your expertise in Azure AD, Intune, and M365.
- Monitor system performance, conduct routine maintenance tasks, and implement best practices for system optimization and security.
- Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Skillset / Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role
- Demonstratable experience with Azure Active Directory, Intune, and Microsoft 365 administration
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with end-users and team members
- Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
- Experience with PowerShell scripting is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are desirable but not required
- Experience with technologies and tools similar to Sophos, Fortinet, AutoElevate, NinjaOne RMM, or Apple Business manager is a plus.
- Basic networking skills will be helpful for in-office IT tasks
