We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to manage and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. This role demands advanced technical expertise, extensive experience in network and network security tasks, and a proven track record in implementing and supporting complex IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including network devices, routing, switching, and wireless network platforms.
- Implement and maintain Cisco Systems products, with a focus on Cisco 9k solutions.
- Manage VLAN, including SSID creation and network segmentation.
- Oversee Palo Alto Firewall management, including NGFW configuration and GlobalProtect support.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard IT assets from unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in system administration and IT infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) preferred.
- Over 5 years of experience supporting large Cisco Core networks.
- Proficiency in Aruba wireless and Aruba ClearPass and NAC technologies.
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9k and protocol management (BGP, TCP/IP, SNMP, HTTP, RADIUS, IPsec, IEEE 802.11).
- Expertise in Palo Alto Firewall management (SSO, MFA, IAM is a plus).
- Strong L2 & L3 troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Flexible and adaptable.
