Job Description:
Looking for a Senior Systems Engineer. The candidate will support the development and maintenance of a complex and highly visible SIGINT subsystem.
The position is for the Aurora, CO, location and is an onsite role.
Responsibilities: - Perform system engineering analysis including trade studies, use case development, system and operational requirements, interface architecture and ConOps, and requirement/system validation.
- Support definition of operations concepts and procedure planning/ development, interfacing with personnel from other organizations.
- Provide technical direction and clarification of requirements to software teams and test personnel.
- Attend technical interchange meetings with the team members and other program personnel and represents the organization in matters pertaining to the maintenance of his/her project.
- Define external and internal interfaces
- Provide document review and resolves technical systems engineering and integration issues.
- Support ECP efforts as required.
- Provide support in a software development systems engineering role using Agile methodology
- Interacting with customers and end-users
- Providing and briefing status to program management and customers
Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with generating DoDAF architecture views with Cameo
- Experience with Agile or DevOps development
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with systems engineering principles and activities on a large government software development contract
- Experience being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software and Integration teams
- Experience in SIGINT and/or Digital communications
- Experience in the RF domain
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of administration
