As a Data Acquisition / Government Relations Specialist at The Lifetime Value co., you will play a crucial role in acquiring and maintaining relationships with various government sources to ensure the accurate and timely aggregation of public records. Your work will directly impact our ability to provide high-quality data to our customers, enabling them to make informed decisions.

What You Will Get to Do
Government Relations:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with government departments, agencies, and officials to facilitate data access agreements.
- Stay informed about government regulations, policies, and changes that may impact data acquisition processes.
- Act as the main point of contact between the company and government sources, addressing any concerns or inquiries.
Data Acquisition:
- Identify, assess, and negotiate data access agreements with government sources for the acquisition of public records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and accurate extraction of data from various sources.
- Monitor data quality and consistency, and take corrective actions when necessary.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical requirements related to data acquisition, privacy, and data security.
- Generate and maintain accurate records of data acquisition activities, expenses, and contracts.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data acquisition and government relations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and data quality.
What You Bring to the Table
- Proven experience in government relations, public policy, or a related field.
- Understanding of government regulations and policies related to data access and public records.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for building and maintaining relationships with government departments, agencies, and officials.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and advocate for the company’s interests effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities and addressing challenges in data acquisition.
- Highly organized with a commitment to maintaining accurate records of data acquisition activities and agreements.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations as they pertain to government-sourced data.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- A passion for staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in government relations and data acquisition.

Something that in 2007, was only really accessible to corporations. Since then their mission has expanded to developing products and services that grant access to information and data across a number of verticals.
