We provide the best common identity platform experience to our world-class customers using cisco products across Networking, Security and Collaboration. You will work on state-of-the-art microservices based cloud software in a dynamic and agile environment. Working with a small scrum team, you'll utilize agile development practices.

You'll be collaborating with a team of experienced and dedicated Java server-side developers and cloud/web technology architects from around the world. The team is a unique mix of engineers/architects from a promising cloud-based start-up acquired by Cisco and seasoned engineers that worked in Cisco cloud software for years.

Responsibilities: - Develop solutions utilizing open source and commercial technologies to ensure service availability and quality with the need for rapid delivery of new features and releases.
- Create and oversee tools, frameworks, templates, etc. for configuring, building, and deploying cloud applications in an automated manner.
- Participate in on-call rotation to promptly address customer issues and deliver technical support.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency and software quality.
- Actively contribute to design reviews, code reviews and other technical discussions.
Minimum Qualifications: - BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience as Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, Software Engineer or Systems Engineer
- At least 1 year programming with any of the following: Python, Bash, Linux Shell or similar languages
- At least 1 year experience working with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes etc.
Preferred Qualifications: - Cloud computing and working with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with Source control and continuous integration tools like Git, Jenkins
- Ability and the passion to learn new things quickly
- Proven ability to work cross-function and cross-department
