eNGINE is seeking a hands-on, IT Administrator to join our our customer’s team in Mount Pleasant, PA. This is a 100% in-office position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.
As the IT Administrator, you will be the go-to person for all things tech—installing and maintaining hardware and software, managing network security and infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and keeping our systems running efficiently and securely. From fixing printers to managing firewalls and supporting software tools for reporting, this role is perfect for a true "jack-of-all-trades" IT professional.
Key Responsibilities:
System Installation & Configuration
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and hardware across the organization.
Network & Security Management
- Maintain firewalls, routers, and switches while enforcing network security policies and access controls.
Troubleshooting & Support
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network performance. Provide user support for around 170 employees.
Data Backup & Recovery
- Implement data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Printer & Hardware Maintenance
- Handle day-to-day fixes for printers, workstations, and other essential equipment.
Patch & Performance Management
- Apply system updates and patches, and monitor performance to prevent bottlenecks.
Documentation
- Keep up-to-date documentation of systems, procedures, and network architecture.
Requirements & Skills
- Proficient with Windows OS, networking protocols, and system admin tools
- Experience managing firewalls and cybersecurity policies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills to support technical and non-technical staff
- Highly adaptable with a passion for continuous learning
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment
