Seeking Network Administrator/ Operations Specialist to join us ON SITE Mon-Fri 7am-330am
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage electronic equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality within the manufacturing plant environment.
- Provide IT operational support to plant operations spanning one assembly plant and two engine plants in Tennessee.
- Collaborate with plant teams to maintain uninterrupted manufacturing processes, including support for electric vehicle and battery production initiatives.
Core Functions:
- Network Administration
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance.
- Apply network experience, specifically with Cisco systems, to support IT infrastructure and communication networks across the manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure system security and integrity while addressing any technical issues promptly.
- Operational Support
- Work closely with plant management to align IT functions with production goals and requirements.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement or upgrades in electronic equipment and network configurations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new systems supporting advanced manufacturing processes for electric vehicles and batteries.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT and network-related roles, including hands-on experience with Cisco systems.
- Flexible on education, though preferred candidates will have relevant schooling in IT, network administration, or a related field.
- Prefer Bachelors or equivalent work experience
- Proven ability to work in a high-paced manufacturing environment with an understanding of plant operations and workflow.
