Description Of Duties
Title : Sr. Product Coordinator
Classification: Nonexempt
Hourly Rate*: $32.00/hour
Working Hours: Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
Schedule: Onsite, 5 days/week

DÔEN is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sr. Product Coordinator to join our growing team in Los Angeles. This position is on site, and will report to the VP of Product Development and Sourcing. The Sr. Product Coordinator will work closely with the Design, Product Development, Production and Technical Design teams to primarily be responsible for producing Seasonal Collections for Content, PR/Marketing and Sales, maintain Doen’s Archive and Showroom, and develop respectful and collaborative relationships with our vendor base with clear daily communication. The responsibilities below show a glimpse into the role's key functions and the impactful contributions this position makes.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Build and update seasonal WIP/Sample Tracker while maintaining daily accuracy of data and proactively problem solving to meet deliverables.Place orders directly with vendors and oversee the status of approved photoshoot samples to ensure they are accurately passed to partners by the calendar deadline.
- Support management of receipt, checkout, and disposal of samples against process guidelines to ensure timely and efficient sample availability.
- Partner closely with PD to ensure correct fabric/yarn is ready at the factory to adhere to key deadlines.
- Audit production fit status to make informed requests to the vendors for the most accurate iteration of the style.Distribute a weekly recap of seasonal deliverables with sample status and updates to key cross-departmental partners.
- Coordinate with the Design/Tech team to review all samples before they are passed to the Content, PR/Marketing and Wholesale teams ahead of seasonal campaign and studio shoots.
- Work closely with the QC team for any repairs needed ahead of photo shoot deadlines.
- Manage Collection Campaign deck shared with the Content team with accurate and timely updates.
- Support Marketing to prepare seasonal collections for flat shoots, special events and stylist pulls, and Design for all Product Knowledge presentations.
- Oversee Launchmetrics (sample management tool) to log in all TOPS and vintage references to establish efficient sample availability and location status.
- Own management of archive closet with support of all cross functional teams.
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom of the three most recent Collections in full.
- Oversee the physical organization and storing of the samples with support from all cross functional teams.
- Attend seasonal pre-production and production meetings as needed.
- Review and approve all vendor invoices in a timely manner.
- Recommend process improvements by identifying problems and potential system enhancements to leadership to increase sample processing effectiveness.
- Support company goals related to Environmental & Social Responsibility.
- Other tasks and responsibilities reasonably requested or assigned by the Company.
Skills And Abilities
- Computer proficiency in all Google Suite applications and MS Office: Excel, Word.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with an ability to prioritize competing projects and meet deadlines based on business needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to product detail.
- Flexible and adaptable in a rapidly growing company.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members of different backgrounds, skill sets, and cultural experiences.
- A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative; exercise discretion and good judgment.
- Action oriented and results driven.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
- 3-4 years of experience in Sample Coordination, Product Development and/or Production.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.
- Periods sitting at a desk, typing, sketching and working on a computer.
- Able to lift/move/push/pull objects up to 25 lbs.
- Able to walk and stand for periods of time.
- Able to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phones, steamer and hand scanner.
- Must be able to access various areas of a given location.

CA Salary Range: $66,000 USD - $66,000 USD
