Title: Cyber Intelligence Analyst
Location: Santa Ana, CA, 92701
Duration: 1 Year with possible extension

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
The Cyber Intelligence Analyst will help integrate information technology, cybersecurity, and cybercrime prevention intelligence and analytic capabilities as defined in, Cyber Integration for Fusion Center: an Appendix to the Baseline Capabilities for State and Major Urban Area Fusion Center (Cyber Integration for Fusion Centers). The position will integrate information, resources, personnel, expertise, stakeholders, and cyber community to enhance fusion center operations.
The Cyber Intelligence Analyst will support the fusion center mission to identify gaps and needs of cybersecurity issues and threats in the ASAUA to include supporting cyber incidents in the ASAUA, provide case support and mitigation strategies, disseminate timely and relevant threat intelligence to the urban area, coordinate with regional, state, and national partners to determine ongoing cyber threats to the urban area and stakeholders.
The cyber intelligence analysts will assist in acquiring, processing, monitoring, modeling, and understanding complex data environments, analyzing cyber threats, mitigating vulnerabilities, detecting compromises, and conducting incident response as a member of the incident response team. This position will provide daily oral and written briefings, and perform other duties as assigned based on the operational needs of the fusion center.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of four years of work-related experience and either a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or intelligence analyst work experience in lieu of a degree, and/or advanced certifications to include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) certifications.
- Knowledge using basic computer applications, networking devices, threat analysis software, and/or intelligence related automation.
- Must be able to obtain a Basic Intelligence Training Analysis Course (BITAC), Foundations of Intelligence Analysis Training (FIAT), or Critical Thinking and Analytic Methods (CTAM) program certificate or equivalent certification in the first six months of hire as required by federal grant guidelines.
