System Administrator

3 month contract role

Hybrid, TX 77469

Responsibilities:

Develop, deploy, maintain, and administer complex server hardware, operating systems, and application software.
Implement and integrate new technologies, including VMware and Microsoft Office 365.
Participate in planning and development of programs, policies, and departmental objectives.
Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of network hardware, system software, and server hardware.
Resolve complex system access and connectivity issues using advanced system utilities and protocol analysis tools.
Configure, install, and maintain servers to ensure optimal resource utilization and support user needs.
Monitor system performance, ensure security compliance, and maintain high availability of IT services.
Provide technical leadership and support in server infrastructure projects and upgrades.
Document procedures, maintain system logs, and assist in disaster recovery planning.

Requirements:

Proven experience with server administration and enterprise IT infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and virtual networking.
Hands-on experience with VMware technologies and Microsoft Office 365 integration.
