As part of our growing team, we are seeking a flexible and experienced System
Administrator to join our IT department. This role requires a strong background in
system administration, proactive infrastructure monitoring, and the ability to clearly
communicate technical concepts across departments and collaborate with team
members to
support cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Microsoft 365 tools such as Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Azure services and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Monitor and maintain Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, and general Microsoft security stack.
- Deploy, secure, and manage devices using MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, Jamf)
- Utilize Jira for ticketing, task tracking, and project collaboration.
- Support networking infrastructure, including VLANs, firewalls, switches, and access points.
- Monitor systems using Datadog (RUM, APM, dashboards, alerting).
- Manage print infrastructure and solutions, including PrinterLogic.
- Write scripts in PowerShell, SQL, Python, or other languages for automation and reporting.
- Mentor junior technical staff and promote best practices.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related IT infrastructure roles.
- 3+ years of experience in supporting systems within a 24/7 production environment.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or SQL.
- Experience with Windows and Linux based systems administration.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply knowledge effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies
- 5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
- 3+ years of hands-on networking experience
- Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA, AWS, Microsoft, or other industry-recognized credentials.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
