Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: San Francisco, CA
Summary:
The Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the organization's email migration project. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements, ensuring seamless migration from legacy email systems to a modern platform. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth execution, risk mitigation, and compliance with security policies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements for email migration.
- Work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless migration.
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies related to email system transitions.
- Assist in change management, end-user training, and post-migration support.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security policies and industry best practices.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to project stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Business analysis and requirements gathering.
- Experience with email migration projects.
- Knowledge of cloud email platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem-solving and risk assessment capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with large-scale IT migrations and change management.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management.
- Familiarity with data protection and cybersecurity policies.
- Previous experience in government or enterprise-level IT projects.
Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):
- Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) (Must)
- ITIL Certification (Must)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate (Preferred)
- Google Workspace Administrator Certification (Preferred)
