A global investment firm with over 400 employees and $70B AUM. They are expanding on all fronts. They currently have an Analyst role on their Asset Management team (Valuations). The Asset Management team is responsible for the valuation and monitoring of credit investments. They are in the office 4x a week in NYC.
- Serve as a key liaison across internal teams—including investment, investor relations, business development, technology, and analytics—as well as with external stakeholders such as valuation firms and auditors.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to facilitate the onboarding of newly originated investments.
- Assist in the creation of quarterly portfolio review materials and occasionally present insights to portfolio managers.
- Conduct monthly valuations of illiquid securities and periodically present findings to the valuation committee.
- Perform independent internal valuation analyses, integrating financial statements, deal structures, market data, and key investment factors.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to monitor issuer performance over time.
