Position Overview:
LBX is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to help lead our data transformation journey. As we transition to a new data warehouse and ERP system, this role will serve as a subject matter expert and key connector between IT, business stakeholders, and the Corporate Planning/PMO team. Your analytical mindset, technical skill, and collaborative spirit will be critical in helping LBX become more data-driven and strategically aligned.
What You’ll Do:
Data Warehouse & BI Development (60%)
- Inventory and assess current reports and dashboards to understand legacy data needs.
- Reverse-engineer Jet reports and Excel tools to identify and document embedded business logic.
- Define new reporting requirements and collaborate with IT to ensure successful deployment.
- Enhance data cube structures, expand the corporate data lexicon, and support ongoing data literacy across teams.
- Prioritize solutions based on impact and cross-functional needs.
Process Improvement & Strategic Analysis (20%)
- Analyze and improve inefficient data and reporting workflows.
- Partner with business teams to recommend enhancements to tools and processes.
- Stay current on best practices in analytics and bring innovative ideas to the table.
Support for Corporate Planning & PMO (20%)
- Assist in building competitive intelligence reports and presentation materials.
- Maintain project tracking systems like Smartsheet and contribute to PMO planning assets.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 1+ years with database or ERP systems (NetSuite or Salesforce experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Jet Reports, SQL, Excel, and relational databases.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and rapidly evolving business environments.
