Hegemon Capital has a client that is a rapidly growing IT services provider focused on delivering comprehensive and innovative solutions to mid-market and enterprise clients. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Managing Partner to lead our expansion, drive sales, and build a robust portfolio of IT products and services. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT professional with a strong corporate IT background, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to cultivate long-term client relationships.
Role Summary:
The IT Managing Partner will be responsible for supporting and executing the company's strategic vision, focusing on expanding our service offerings and acquiring new clients within the healthcare, financial, and manufacturing sectors. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and sales proficiency to drive growth and establish our company as a trusted IT partner.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership and Business Development:
- Develop and implement a strategic business plan to achieve company growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets (healthcare, financial, manufacturing).
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives (CIOs, CTOs) at client organizations.
- Lead the development of proposals and responses to RFPs, managing longer sales cycles effectively.
- Identify and attract corporate IT professionals looking to transition into entrepreneurship to be a part of your team
- Leverage existing corporate IT experience to understand and navigate complex enterprise IT environments.
2. Product and Service Portfolio Management:
- Expand and manage a comprehensive portfolio of IT products and services, including:
- Cybersecurity (sophisticated solutions, risk management)
- Voice solutions
- Cloud hosting
- Remote Desktop/Remote App
- Hardware as a Service (HaaS)
- Labor (break-fix, project, fully managed, recurring services)
- Microsoft 365/Azure ecosystem and related tools
- Staff Augmentation
- Project based consulting.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services with a lean and efficient team.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance service offerings.
3. Sales and Client Relationship Management:
- Drive sales initiatives and achieve revenue targets.
- Manage and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Understand and navigate RFP-driven sales processes.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
4. Operational Management:
- Oversee the efficient delivery of IT services and projects.
- Manage resources and optimize team performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Implement and maintain robust project management methodologies.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 10 years in Corporate IT
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Extensive experience in1 a corporate IT environment, preferably within healthcare, financial services, or manufacturing.
- Proven track record of successful business development and sales in the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems and infrastructure.
- Expertise in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and managed services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.2
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and growing a business.
- Experience with RFP responses and long sales cycles.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts.
- Knowledge of risk management principles.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in relevant IT technologies (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL).
- Existing network of contacts within the target industries.
- Experience in staff augmentation and project based IT consulting.
