Roles & Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain DB2 databases on AS400 systems.
- Monitor database performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Perform regular database backups and recovery procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and errors.
- Implement and maintain database security measures.
- Optimize database performance through tuning and query optimization.
- Collaborate with application developers to design and implement database solutions.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Stay updated with the latest DB2 and AS400 technologies and best practices.
Salary Range- $110,000-$125,000 a year
