The Role:
We’re seeking a foundational Chief Technology Officer to architect, build, and scale the core technology for our platform. As CTO, you'll own the engineering strategy, guide AI-driven product development, and establish systems designed for agility and long-term trust.
You’ll be the key technical leader: setting the architectural direction, building the initial engineering team, and making critical technology choices that enable us to iterate quickly while building a resilient, high-quality product.
Your Impact:
- Architect and guide the development of a scalable, secure, AI-powered platform for web and mobile.
- Define and drive the technical roadmap, balancing innovation with feasibility and delivery speed.
- Build and mentor a high-performing, cross-functional engineering team from its early stages.
- Collaborate closely with product and design to create a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Establish the foundation for responsible and practical AI implementation, prioritizing ethics and user value.
- Ensure infrastructure choices support future growth, reliability, and maintainability.
- Implement engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, observability) suited for a fast-moving startup environment.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Significant engineering experience (e.g., 8-10+ years), including technical leadership roles, ideally within scaling startups or product-centric tech companies.
Proven experience leading the development of complex software systems. Experience with AI-powered features or platforms is a strong plus.
Experience building and scaling products and engineering teams in a startup environment. You understand how to hire and nurture talent.
A deep understanding of cloud architecture (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), distributed systems, and designing for scale.
Pragmatism and speed: You know how to balance rapid iteration required in early stages with building a solid foundation for the future.
Empathy: You build with consideration for users, fellow engineers, and the broader impact of technology.
Comfort with ambiguity: You thrive in dynamic environments and are excited by the prospect of shaping something new from the ground up.

Have familiarity with developing tools related to personal organization, productivity, or resource management.
Are passionate about privacy-preserving AI techniques and ethical data practices.
Have experience scaling systems to support a large user base (e.g., 100k+ users).
