Summary of the role
Under the supervision of the Global IT Director, the Network administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the company's US infrastructure. He/she will have to work with the members of the IT team to assume the daily management of the network to provide the expected performance and availability. He/she will have to manage the various infrastructure projects in which he will participate.
Responsabilities
- Configure and support the US infrastructure of the company regarding its availability, performance and security;
- Manage a virtualized multisite environment;
- Manage and maintain telephone systems, backup systems, centralized antivirus and security systems;
- Perform maintenance on different systems;
- Redact the infrastructure documentation;
- Support the employees of the head office;
- Manage the various infrastructure projects;
- Advise the Global IT Director for infrastructure projects.
Education
- Highschool diploma + 1 year at university level or equivalent;
- Microsoft certifications an asset.
Experience, knowledge
- 5 years in systems and network administration;
- In-depth knowledge of virtual environments (Hyper-V, VMWare);
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016+ environments;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365;
- Knowledge of IP telephony;
- Knowledge of Fortinet products an asset;
- Experience in manufacturing enterprise an asset.

Location: The Network Administrator will split his time between our two locations (Newton & Statesville).
