Cloud Architect AWS Lead
It is a Hybrid role as needed
Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure & Application & Platform Migration to Cloud.
· Collaborate with clients to understand their needs.
· Develop solutions that meet client requirements.
· Lead AWS architectural discussions with clients.
· Assist in pre-sales activities to win new business.
· Troubleshoot and resolve AWS-related issues.
· Stay updated on AWS best practices and trends.
· Mentor team members and share AWS knowledge.
· Create technical documentation for projects and solutions.
· Nice-to-have: Similar experience with Microsoft Azure services
- Familiarity with Azure virtual machines, storage services, and Azure Functions.
- Understanding of Azure networking and security, including Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Security Center.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and application deployment.
- Knowledge of Azure cost management and optimization practices.
- Proficiency in deploying and managing Azure-based solutions.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in a related field
· AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or equivalent AWS certifications
· Extensive experience (7+ years) with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.
· Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)
· Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Proven track record in client engagement and relationship building.
· Experience with cloud migration and DevOps practices
· Familiarity with Gov Cloud & CUI data requirements
· Familiarity with AWS pricing models and cost optimization strategies
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
·Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
