We are keen to talk to IT System Analysts who are looking for an opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, applications, and operations. You will oversee IT systems lifecycle management, user support, cloud infrastructure (Azure), DevOps pipelines, networking, and security. This role requires a strategic thinker who can optimize IT processes, drive automation, and support the company’s growth while maintaining compliance with healthcare industry regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
Networking & Security
- Maintain and optimize networking infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, VLANs, and wireless networks.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement cybersecurity best practices, including SIEM monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare data security regulations.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure operational efficiency.
- Automate repetitive IT tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
- Optimize software deployment, patching, and update management using automation tools.
Collaboration & IT Strategy
- Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to align IT strategies with business goals.
- Assist in vendor and contract management for IT-related services and solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff.
Infrastructure & Cloud Management
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure cloud environments, ensuring scalability, cost efficiency, and security.
- Support Azure DevOps pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation efforts.
- Oversee IT asset lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
User & Endpoint Support
- Provide tier 2 and tier 3 technical support for employees, including troubleshooting system, software, and hardware issues.
- Manage identity and access management (IAM), ensuring proper provisioning and de-provisioning of users.
- Administer device management solutions (e.g., Intune, MDM, endpoint security).
Requirements (dependent on level and experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certifications preferred:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP (a plus)
Experience
- 10+ years’ hands-on IT experience in software or healthcare industries.
- 5+ years administering cloud infrastructure in Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience managing enterprise networking infrastructure, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Expertise in IT security, compliance, and incident response, process automation and IT service optimization, remote and hybrid work environments.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, etc.).
Technical Competencies
- Cloud Computing & DevOps: Azure administration, Azure DevOps pipelines, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates).
- Networking: Firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, wireless networking.
- Security: Endpoint security, IAM, SIEM, vulnerability management, compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2).
- User Support & Device Management: Intune, MDM, Windows/Mac support, ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira).
- Automation & Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash, automation of IT processes.
- Storage & Backup: Azure Storage, NAS, SAN, backup & disaster recovery strategies.
- IT Operations: ITSM best practices, ITIL framework, asset lifecycle management.
