Job Title: Systems Administrator
Location: On-Site – Tallahassee, Florida
Duration: 2 Months (with potential for 1-year renewal)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to support and expand infrastructure. This role involves server administration, network management, and cloud service support (Microsoft Azure preferred). You will coordinate with multiple teams, ensure system security and performance, and recommend improvements. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in server management, IIS, network communications, cloud environments, and Microsoft software administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain systems and network infrastructure
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Configure and administer cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Manage Azure DevOps projects and pipelines
- Provide support for middleware, API management, and automation tools
- Recommend and assist in system upgrades and optimizations
- Collaborate with multiple teams in a matrixed environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years in systems administration, with strong experience in Microsoft Azure and cloud services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Server (2012-2022), IIS, TCP/IP, DNS, Samba/CIFS
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Linux (Redhat/Ubuntu)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Preferred:
- Experience with middleware, API Management, and IT Service Automation tools
- Experience with cloud-based networks and IT infrastructure
