As a Cloud Architect III, you will leverage your expertise in cloud computing to design, implement, and oversee innovative cloud solutions that align with business objectives. Working under general direction, you will independently develop strategies and technical solutions to complex challenges, contributing to cloud adoption plans, application design, and system management. Your role will involve leading the development and deployment of cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based systems. This position offers the opportunity to drive impactful change while providing technical leadership in a rapidly evolving domain.
The proposed salary range for this position is $108,500 - $144,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI
- Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 5–7 years of experience in cloud architecture, or a Master’s degree with 5 years of experience. 9+ years of experience without a degree. A minimum of 5 years of specialized experience is required.
Comprehensive understanding and application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in cloud computing. Having earned one of the following certifications; CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Security+, GICSP, SSCP, or GSEC Proven ability to independently develop solutions to complex technical problems. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of cloud-native services, serverless architectures, and microservices. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate a case for change to stakeholders.
