KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Technology Leadership: As the VCIO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our technology strategy across your client base. You will augment your client’s leadership team by identifying and capitalizing on emerging technologies that keep them at the forefront of their industry.
- Digital Transformation Maven: Drive and oversee the digital transformation journey of the client’s organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in communicating technology processes, enhancing efficiency through technology, and delivering a seamless, tech-enabled experience for clients.
- Cybersecurity Sentinel: Our mission is to safeguard our client’s life’s work. You will play a part in this by understanding the risks each client faces and recommending our robust cybersecurity measures. You will lead the client through their security journey whether that is to meet regulated compliance or harden their security posture.
- Collaborative Team Member: Work closely with internal teams to keep a pulse on your clients. Your clients will have touchpoints with several other teams and it’s important that all communication stays cohesive. Your most important responsibility is to be the liaison between the client and Layer 9, keeping in the best interests of both parties.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and maintain business relationships with client decision makers and owners through frequent touch points and conversations.
- Continually educate clients on industry risk and compliance, and what the impact that has on their business.
- Focus on getting clients aligned with Layer 9 technology and security standards.
- Planning and presenting annual client IT budgets.
- Performing onsite Strategic Business Reviews for clients.
- Work directly with the Network Administrator to discuss the results of Technology Assessment and how that impacts the customer.
- Participate in client handoff meeting with client assigned technician.
- Work with the Systems Architect and Design Desk to create strategic plans and provide clients with accurate opportunity pricing.
- Continually update client related documentation.
- Track customer lifecycle for hardware and software and plan out accordingly with Design Desk and Professional Services team.
- Any other tasks requested for assistance by Leadership Team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record of success in a similar role within the technology sector.
- Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus (Preferred).
