Job Details
We are in search of a dynamic and dedicated System Administrator to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure.
This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of systems and technologies, including Windows, Virtualization, Systems, Exchange, ESXi, and Cloud. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on system administration within the manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Administer and manage Windows Server environments.
- Implement and manage virtualization technologies, such as VMware ESXi.
- Oversee and manage Microsoft Exchange Server.
- Utilize cloud technologies to streamline and improve operations.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to support the organization's operational needs.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure system compatibility and efficiency.
- Conduct regular system audits and upgrades.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks, systems, and processes.
- Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator, specifically within the manufacturing industry.
- Expertise in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environments.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies, such as VMware ESXi.
- Experience in managing Microsoft Exchange Server.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of IT principles, concepts, and methods.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified Windows Server 2016, or VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) would be an added advantage.
