Eagle TGis seeking a dynamic, proactive, and self-starting Software Developer to join our team. This is a remote position but candidates will need to be within commuting distance of Scott AFB, IL.

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$88,500 annually and is dependent ongeographical location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
- Implement user stories, maintain system performance, and support software development in an Agile environment.
- Work closely with other developers and testers to ensure code quality and timely delivery of software artifacts.
- Manage Java applications and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs and industry standards.
- Participate in the design, development, and deployment of web applications using Java, Ruby, ActionScript, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Assist in refactoring legacy monolithic systems into microservices architecture to improve scalability and system resilience.
- Implement secure coding practices and apply security code scanning techniques using tools like Fortify Static Code Analyzer (SCA), SonarQube, and WebInspect to ensure code vulnerability mitigation and compliance with DoD RMF standards.
- Maintain CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins, GitLab, and Docker to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable code deployments.
- Work closely with cross-functional Agile Scrum teams, including senior developers and testers, during sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews.
- Contribute to backlog refinement and user story development, ensuring proper documentation within Jira and Confluence.
- Support the development and maintenance of database technologies such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, and Oracle DBMS, ensuring data integrity and optimization across platforms.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting for system performance issues, manage system configurations, and support user account management tasks for applications running in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows environments.
- Contribute to and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and support guides, to facilitate knowledge sharing and future enhancements.
- Work on the development of web portals and applications integrated with the GTP-GOPAX framework, using web technologies (Angular 2, JSP, and Flex) while ensuring interoperability and performance.
- Assist with the remediation of security vulnerabilities and apply necessary patches to applications, ensuring compliance with DISA STIGs and Security Requirements Guides (SRG).
Requirements
- Active US Department of Defense Secret clearance
- Ability to work individually as well as with cross functional teams
- Experience developing in a DevSecOps environment
- Proficiency in Java, Ruby, ActionScript, SQL, and web development frameworkslike Angular 2.
- Experience working with databases suchas MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle DBMS.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and experience using Fortify, SonarQube, Nessus, and WebInspect for security scanning and remediation.
- Current CompTIA Sec+ or better
- Working experience may be substituted for degree requirements
Desired
- Experience developing in a DevSecOps environment
- Experience with Apache CXF, Log4J2, JSP, Flex, and Jira/Confluence
- Experience with CD/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Maven, Gradle) and automation frameworks.
- Experience with United States Transportation Command systems
- Exposure to system design/frameworks
