Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled
Azure Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, security, networking, and DevOps, ensuring scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Architecture & Strategy: Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-efficient Azure cloud solutions.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure Azure environments comply with security best practices and regulatory requirements (ISO, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
- Networking & Connectivity: Design and manage Azure networking services, including VNet, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.
- DevOps & Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to optimize performance and availability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Migration & Modernization: Lead cloud migration strategies from on-premises to Azure using tools like Azure Migrate.
- Cost Management: Optimize cloud costs by analyzing and implementing cost-effective strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong expertise in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, App Services, and Storage solutions.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Knowledge of Azure security controls, identity management (Azure AD, RBAC, Managed Identities), and compliance standards.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking concepts, including VNet, VPN, NSG, and ExpressRoute.
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud environments.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker & Kubernetes.
