Title: Due Diligence Coordinator
Type: Direct Hire
Location: Alpharetta, GA
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Due Diligence Coordinator to join our client. This person plays an integral role in client's business development and client retention efforts by developing competitive, high-quality due diligence (inclusive of requests for proposal, requests for information, due diligence questionnaires, and 15(c) inquiries) responses and proposals from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the response development process – from kickoff and work plan development to document production, editing and final review. The position is located in Alpharetta, Georgia, and will be part of the Compliance Department.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and responding to due diligence requests, particularly highly complex requests and/or those deemed to be organizational priorities.
- Writing/editing content to be used to respond to due diligence and other client requests that is thorough, accurate, and highlights client's products and services for competitive advantage and maximum impact.
- Building relationships and proactively interacting with due diligence stakeholders (such as Senior Leadership, Compliance, Investment Management and Sales) to keep abreast of current information related to the firm, its strategies, and initiatives for the future.
- Preparing and responding to monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc client service requests.
- Continuously improving the accuracy and relevancy of all information contained in the due diligence response repository.
- Participating in various projects aimed at improving the overall efficiency of the due diligence response and client requests processes.
- Track completed due diligence responses and client service requests to help maintain firm-wide statistics.
- Assist in the completion of quarterly and annual compliance questionnaires received from clients and third parties.
- Working in a demanding environment with a multitude of overlapping deadlines.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Due diligence experience preferred.
- Experience within the asset management and/or registered fund (mutual funds, ETF’s) industries is preferred.
- Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to address technical investment-oriented detail in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Possess a high level of initiative and be a self-starter, self-directed, and highly motivated.
- Solid organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Critical thinking, quantitative skills, and the ability to understand and interpret detailed information.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both external and internal business partners.
- Experience leading and/or participating in a cross-functional project team environment.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently, but also to contribute as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work beyond standard business hours as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with an RFP content management database a plus.
