Chief Information Officer Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the organization's IT strategy to align with business goals
- Oversee systems analysis, design, and feasibility studies to enhance operational efficiency
- Direct technology acquisition decisions, including hardware, software, and service procurement
- Lead troubleshooting, system performance monitoring, and security initiatives to ensure operational continuity
- Stay ahead of technological advancements, economic trends, and industry innovations to maintain a competitive edge
- Develop IT infrastructure and digital innovations to enhance customer experience and internal processes
- Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality service
- Lead integration of IT systems across retail locations, digital platforms, and corporate offices
- Implement IT governance policies to ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI, and data security regulations
- Develop and manage IT budgets to optimize resources and technology investments
Chief Information Officer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in information systems, with multi-unit retail experience required (industry experience preferred)
- 5+ years in executive IT management, leading large-scale digital initiatives
- Expertise in Microsoft Power BI and other analytics tools
- Strong understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and security compliance requirements
- Proven track record of strategic IT leadership in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills to interact with vendors, leadership, and investors
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex IT challenges and implement data-driven solutions
- Experience in process development, financial management, and IT operations improvement
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive digital innovation across all business functions
