We are currently looking for a talented, highly motivated UI Developer for our DbProtect Engineering Team. The position will be a key team member of the database security software team whose focus is to design new and enhance existing user interface features in our DbProtect Enterprise level product.
Your Opportunity
- Work as part of a small, agile team to design, prototype and build new product offerings and enhance existing products and tools
- Design, develop and document UI in Angular JS with a Springboot Java backend and other modern UI frameworks
- Participate in peer code reviews
- Improve our team's processes and efficiency with your ideas
What You'll Need
- Strong UI design and Angular JS and JavaScript programming skills
- Experience developing user interfaces for web services using REST
- Familiarity with agile/iterative development methodologies (XP, SCRUM, etc.)
- Experience with source code management tools such as Git or Subversion.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with creativity
- Self-motivated, independent and able to quickly assess and understand complex systems
- Be a team player
Additional Plus Competencies
- Familiarity with Maven build tools
- Experience with CI/CD environments (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Expertise in the software security field
- Experience and/or willingness to write technical blog posts (See https://www.trustwave.com/en-us/resources/blogs/spiderlabs-blog/)
- Familiarity with SDLC and Web Application Security
Education
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college or university degree is a plus.
