As a
Senior Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, analyzing, and mitigating risks to protect our business operations, financial health, and reputation. Your expertise will contribute to developing advanced risk assessment models, interpreting market trends, and providing actionable insights. In this role, you will be responsible for building default scorecards, conducting stress testing, forecasting loan losses, and analyzing portfolio and market trends. This position requires a forward-thinking professional who is skilled in leveraging machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to improve risk analysis and reporting.
You will:
- Lead the creation and maintenance of detailed internal risk reports for the credit team, using ML and AI to enhance accuracy and predictive capabilities
- Design, implement, and refine advanced statistical models and ML algorithms to conduct comprehensive risk assessments
- Analyze market trends, internal data, and external factors through AI tools, identifying potential risks and recommending strategic mitigations
- Build and maintain default scorecards to inform credit decisions and portfolio risk management
- Conduct stress testing and loan loss forecasting to assess portfolio resilience and financial impacts
- Provide strategic insights and support decision-making by interpreting complex data from ML and AI models
- Ensure all reports and analyses meet industry regulations and internal standards, proactively addressing gaps with AI-driven solutions
- Present complex, AI-driven risk findings to internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, in a clear and actionable format
- Collaborate with operations, technology, and data science teams to integrate AI and ML tools into risk frameworks
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging ML/AI technologies to keep risk reporting innovative and compliant
- Mentor junior analysts in using ML and AI tools, fostering a risk-aware culture
- Identify opportunities to streamline risk processes using AI, improving efficiency and effectiveness
- Perform additional duties as directed by leadership to support risk management and organizational initiatives
You have:
- 6+ years of relevant experience in risk analysis, financial modeling, or related fields
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Expertise in Business Analytics, Data Modeling, and Financial Risk Management
- Proficiency in Python, Statistical Analysis, and Risk Identification Models
- Experience with Financial Risk Management Software and Statistical Reporting
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability, creativity, and critical thinking
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and emotional intelligence

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $158,100 to $196,300 per year.
