Linux Administrator
Location: Lynwood, WA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months+
Need Linux Administrator with Strong Patch Management experience.
Dual patch/hardware technician:
Duties in this role:
Patch management: they will search out all of the relevant patches that apply to their systems; they create a workflow to get the patch tested. Apply patches toward the patch management environment.
Test the patch and make sure that it doesn't break
The patch is added to the customer portal showing that its tested and approved
The patching position is not full time and they need this hardware tech in Lynwood so they decided to combine and have a dual patch/hardware technician that can help with the hardware stuff.
For the patching role: Must know Linux extremely well and use it daily. Must know Windows server, NetApp storage, cisco switches, and Veeam.
There may be a some travel for this role.
