Oracle ERP Application Server Administration
We are seeking a skilled Oracle ERP Application Server Administrator to manage and support our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) on cloud environments. The role will involve overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle ERP application servers, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the Oracle EBS platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application servers hosted on the cloud, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Install, configure, and manage Oracle EBS application servers, including web, forms, and concurrent processing servers.
- Perform regular patching, upgrades, and maintenance of Oracle ERP environments, ensuring compliance with cloud service provider guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to application performance, server outages, and user access within the Oracle ERP environment.
- Collaborate with database administrators, cloud engineers, and business teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle EBS and other enterprise systems.
- Monitor and tune the application server performance, including load balancing, session management, and memory utilization, to maintain system efficiency.
- Manage and enforce application server security policies, including user roles, access controls, and data protection mechanisms.
- Develop and maintain documentation for server configurations, disaster recovery plans, and operational procedures.
- Provide on-call support for critical issues and ensure timely resolution of incidents affecting Oracle ERP services.
- Work with Oracle cloud services to manage backups, disaster recovery strategies, and cloud resource optimization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application server administration.
- Experience managing Oracle ERP environments on cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or other cloud providers).
- Strong expertise in installation, configuration, and tuning of Oracle EBS application servers (WebLogic, Oracle Forms, Concurrent Managers).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, including managing Oracle EBS in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS modules and architecture, as well as Oracle database interaction with the application tier.
- Experience with patching, cloning, and upgrading Oracle ERP applications.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, particularly for performance tuning and resolving complex server issues.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant certifications, such as Oracle EBS Certified Professional or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications, are a plus.
Salary Range- $100,000-$110,000 a year
