As we expand our operations, we are in search of a dedicated and skilled DevOps Consultant. Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive client engagements, from identifying potential opportunities to delivering state-of-the-art solutions, while ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Evaluate client requirements and implement strategic DevOps solutions that align with organizational objectives.
- Assist clients in navigating cloud adoption and advanced technological strategies, promoting a transformational approach to IT.
- Partner with client development teams to ensure transparency throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Create innovative solutions, design architectural frameworks, and develop proof of concepts to showcase the benefits of digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure that project delivery aligns with established timelines, budgets, and scopes.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and partnership initiatives, including sales materials, blog content, podcasts, and workshops.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends by pursuing ongoing certification and participating in relevant technology events.
Required Skills
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Experience in designing and managing Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Enterprise or Anthos Clusters.
- Strong knowledge in container and Kubernetes hardening, emphasizing security best practices.
- Expertise in implementing HashiCorp Vault Enterprise for secure secret management and access control in complex environments.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting.
- Comprehensive understanding of technical infrastructure (cloud and on-premise), incorporating systems design, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in coding and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, and TypeScript.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in configuring, deploying, and maintaining container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, EKS, OCP, GKE, and AKS.
- At least 2 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC), automation, and configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, Octopus Deploy, AWS Config, and Azure Automation.
- Hands-on experience with secrets management solutions including KMS and HashiCorp Vault Enterprise.
- Expertise in source control management (SCM) tools such as Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
- Familiarity with API management platforms like Apigee-X, Postman, AWS API Gateway, and Azure API Management.
- Background in Software Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a DevOps role with a proven record of successful project delivery.
