As an Enterprise Cloud Administrator, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our IT infrastructure, supporting educators, staff, and students in a forward-thinking and innovative environment.
Your Role
As an Enterprise Cloud Administrator, you will:
- Design, implement, and manage LAUSD’s enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Oversee email and collaboration platforms such as Office 365 and Google Workspace.
- Monitor system performance, configure access controls (RBAC), and ensure cloud security compliance.
- Develop disaster recovery operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain robust system documentation.
- Provide leadership in deploying cutting-edge technologies aligned with the District's IT initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
- (Additional qualifying experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.)
Experience:
- 5+ years in enterprise infrastructure/cloud platform administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- At least 2 years managing systems that serve 5,000+ email users daily.
- (3 years of supervisory/management experience preferred.)
Special Requirements:
- A valid California driver’s license.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, AWS SysOps Administrator, or equivalent are preferred.
