OMS Lead - Blueyonder, Fluent
As the Order Management System Architect, you will be responsible for the end-to-end architecture of OMS, including system design, integration, and scalability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Your expertise will be essential in building a robust and efficient OMS to support growing business needs:
• Lead the architectural design and development of the Order Management System.
• Define system components, modules, and interfaces.
• Ensure that the architecture aligns with business objectives and scalability requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify integration points with other systems, such as ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners and business stakeholders.
• Design and implement data flow and integration strategies to facilitate real-time information exchange.
• Select appropriate technologies and frameworks to build a scalable and efficient OMS.
• Implement solutions to enhance system performance, reliability, and responsiveness.
• Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard customer data and transactions.
• Create comprehensive architectural documentation, including system diagrams and design specifications.
10+ years of overall IT Experience
More than five years of experience in implementing Order Management systems.
Experience in customizing and implementing Order Management system to support – Inventory as Service, Promise Date, Third Party Logistic, Ship from Store, BOPIS, and Same day Delivery functionalities.
Should have knowledge of Composable commerce.
Proficiency in programming languages and technologies relevant to OMS development (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, RESTful APIs).
Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Should be a problem solver rather than waiting for a solution to the problem.
Should co-ordinate with multi-geographical teams in ensuring a successful delivery of the Order Management System
