Role Overview
As a Platform Administrator, you will be integral to the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our technology platforms, ensuring they consistently meet client requirements and uphold exceptional service reliability. This position demands a solid foundation in IT infrastructure management, comprehensive knowledge of various technology platforms, and exceptional problem-solving capabilities. You will also engage in automating recurring tasks through scripting and utilizing tools such as SQL, PowerShell, and PowerApps.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and manage technology platforms, including servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with internal standards and client needs.
- Monitor platform performance, implementing necessary adjustments to guarantee optimal availability and efficiency.
- Establish and uphold security protocols to safeguard client data and systems, encompassing application configurations and access management.
- Formulate and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery strategies to secure data integrity and ensure business continuity.
- Execute patch management to keep platforms current and fortified against vulnerabilities.
- Proactively identify and resolve platform-related issues, minimizing service interruptions.
- Document platform configurations, procedures, and best practices comprehensively.
- Provide timely technical support for internal and client inquiries related to platform functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical support, engineering, and sales, to enhance client service delivery.
Required Skills
- Profound knowledge of IT infrastructure, encompassing servers, networks, and cloud platforms.
- Experience in administering operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficient in the use and maintenance of Remote Monitoring & Management Tools (e.g., CW Automate/RMM, N-Able/N-Central).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven track record as a technology platform administrator or in a similar capacity within a managed services context.
- Experience with API/Integration configuration is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, or equivalent, are a plus.

Compensation
- Non-Exempt
- Salary Range: \(60,000-\)85,000, commensurate with experience.
