Duties & Responsibilities
- The Intelligence Analyst I (IA1) shall actively monitor, assess for application to NSWC PHD programs, and brief at Command-level all-source, business-related research and analysis produced by the Intelligence
- To the extent necessary, provide intelligence support to acquisition and research activities at NSWC PHD in a manner that addresses acquisition programs' requirements to keep threat capabilities current and validated in program documents throughout the acquisition process.
- The Intelligence Analyst I (IA1) shall prepare and brief report(s) for findings of such research and analysis for review by NSWC PHD Security and Command Provide NSWC PHD intelligence representatives with any command request for intelligence for submittal via current or future systems or other appropriate mechanisms. Provide the ability to translate requirements, including production requirements, statements of intelligence interest and critical intelligence parameters for NSWC PHD to the Intelligence Community.
- The Intelligence Analyst I shall prepare Intelligence threat briefings on adversary capabilities to keep the commanding officer or activity director informed of intelligence and threat based technological developments that impact the command's mission, programs, customers, and projects.
- The IA1 shall provide intelligence on emerging adversary technics, tactics, and procedures against S. information systems that might affect NSWC PHD and PHD Customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
- This position requires: Strong task management, excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, and providing a high level of customer services with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Minimum/General Experience - Two years of experience in the following areas of intelligence and analysis:
- Preparing intelligence reports.
- Gathering and evaluating intelligence from various
- One year of experience in the following areas of intelligence and analysis:
- Identification of threats and ensuring that critical information gets to superiors and decision-
- Conceptualizing, draft, coordinate, and publish intelligence assessments about security
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and two years of experience related to intelligence, OR
- Six years of professional experience related to intelligence and analysis.
