We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized IT technician to support for incoming queries and issues related to MAC and PC systems, software, and hardware. The successful candidate will perform Help Desk Support, including walk-in management, ticket assignments, and answering the Help Desk phone and provide hands-on support for IT issues within our organization.
Responsibilities and Duties:
➜ Keep systems up-to-date through operating systems upgrades
➜ Support with the implementation and ongoing support of new software and features.
➜ Set up new employee user profiles on system networks and processes new hardware shipment
➜ Administer technical support either by phone, remote access or site visits as needed
➜ Counter to IT issues, hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc
➜ Assess connectivity issues, equipment, and software
➜ Assist with Servers, computer repair/troubleshooting software, networks, virus protection, Wi-Fi technology, and more
➜ Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
➜ Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
➜ High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field preferred
➜ CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+ certification or other related IT professional certification; meet all state-required licensure/certification
➜ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve multiple issues
➜ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
➜ Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, and upgrades
➜ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
