Calling all tech wizards! Our Established client is on the hunt for a Junior Systems Administrator to join their Vancouver-based team of experts. In this role, you'll be the go-to for all things tech support, diving into complex challenges and emerging victorious. With 75% of your focus on helping others, you'll be the face of the company's commitment to delivering top-notch service.
You'll be a self-starter who knows how to work well under pressure, always seeking out ways to improve our technology solutions. Whether you're troubleshooting an issue solo or working with the Sr Systems Admin, you'll have the technical know-how to resolve problems quickly and efficiently. From data and telecommunication networks to end-user devices and everything in between, you'll be a master of all things tech.
Requirements
• 4 years of relevant experience in desktop support or Jr Systems Admin
• Technical school or college diploma
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft stack (365, Windows 10/Server, Azure AD, etc.)
• Practical experience with networking equipment (Cisco Meraki, TCP/IP, VPN, etc.)
• Experience with user lifecycle management and deploying computers
• Intermediate-level experience with virtual apps/desktops and hypervisors
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Zabbix, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify technical concepts
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
And if you have any of these "nice to haves":
• Experience with Azure Cloud or AWS
• Knowledge of SQL Server and SQL query
• Industry certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, CompTIA, etc.)
• Experience with Zebra scan guns and thermal printers
• Experience with DevOps
