LOCATION: Cedar Rapids, IA
EDUCATION: 2 years of higher education or industry standard technology certifications
EXPERIENCE: 2+ years preferred (We also welcome recent graduates!)
2nd Shift: Wednesday - Saturday 2pm to 12am. (4x10 schedule)

What You’ll Accomplish and Experience
As a NOC Technician Tier I at CCR Media, you'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless media acquisition and delivery for our clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting Incidents: Troubleshoot a variety of incidents related to media signals and network performance, ensuring timely repair to minimize recurrence and avoid rework.
- Responding to Alerts: Respond to internal and external alerts and requests, engaging with clients and vendors as needed to resolve issues quickly.
- Workflow Management: Follow appropriate workflow and time management practices while maintaining customer focus and providing high-quality service, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain Documentation: Research, document, and resolve issues to support business solutions, while maintaining uptime and response time SLAs.
- Collaborative Environment: Work in an innovative and agile setting where your contributions are valued, and you can collaborate with a diverse team.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving technology related to network and media solutions, participating in ongoing training and development.
Desirable Previous Experience
- CompTIA Network + certification or comparable operational skills (willingness to obtain certification is required).
- Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN and WAN architectures, etc.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Operational understanding of switching, routing architectures, and protocols like STP, BGP, OSPF, and more.
- Proven ability to support and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Experience with VMWare including vSphere, or comparable skills preferred.
- Experience with RF is highly desired.
