RightBrain Networks, a leading technology consulting company in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area, is excited to offer an entry-level Cloud Practitioner role. This position is designed for individuals with a foundational technical background who are eager to build a career in cloud solutions and platform engineering. As a Cloud Practitioner, you’ll work closely with experienced engineers, gaining hands-on knowledge and practical skills in cloud architecture and DevOps.

In this role, you’ll assist our engineering team with foundational cloud tasks, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop your skills in areas like cloud computing, networking, and scripting. With guidance and mentorship, you’ll have the opportunity to advance your skills and move toward becoming a Cloud Solutions Engineer.

Qualifications:
An ideal candidate for this role should have entry-level knowledge in the following areas:
- Experience as a Linux or Windows system administrator.
- Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Foundational understanding of networking concepts, including DNS and TCP/IP.
- Familiarity with source control (Git is a plus).
- Interest in developing skills in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong communication skills: via email, in-person, and phone.
Pluses:
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with Docker basics.
- Understanding of web servers (NGINX, Apache).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Linux+, AWS Cloud Practitioner).
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position with pay starting at $55k per year, and full benefits. We are not able to sponsor work visas at this time.
